Know your calorie needs
The first step to lose weight is to know what your body needs. You are already obese as your body has accumulated unwanted fat. The fat must come off to lose weight. Although if you are building muscle the weight loss may not be as significant because muscle weighs more than fat. Without knowing what your body needs, you cannot lose weight effectively. This calorie chart will tell you what you should eat and what exercises you should follow. Many do not follow this step and just follow the plan and exercises. This is wrong and it is not advisable to reduce your food intake without knowing what your body wants.
Keep changing your low calorie diet The diet you eat supplies calories to your body. Once you know your calorie needs, you should start eating a little less than the requirement so that stored fat is used to meet the demand. A low calorie diet is prescribed by most weight loss programs where you take foods with few calories. You will feel full eating these diets. Eating the same thing day in and day out becomes monotonous and you will soon quit the diet for lack of interest. Make the program interesting by changing your diet periodically. You can find many low calorie diets on the internet for both vegans as well as non-vegans.
Keep changing your workouts
Exercise is crucial to lose weight. You will need more energy to workout and therefore your body burns more cals. The number of calories you burn is directly proportional to weight loss. There are many sets of weight loss exercises which you can follow. Either a gym or your home can serve as a place to lose weight. The workouts you follow should be changed often to keep up your motivation. You should do the exercises in reps and try to beat your old record. This will maintain your interest in following exercises regularly. Change the schedule and follow different workouts to reduce weight fast.
Drink plenty of water
Water plays an important role in weight loss. As you burn more calories, body fat will be broken down and this will increase the toxins inside your body. Drinking plenty of water will flush away the body toxins, helping you stay healthy. Your trainer will advise you to drink water in the middle of your exercise schedule to keep your energy level high. Drinking at least 2 litres of water is essential for everyone who wishes to lose weight fast.

Well, we don’t gain it overnight quickly so losing it overnight will be a little bit impossible unless of course you go on some crazy liquid crash diet and excercise your brains out, but it’s not worth it. It will probably make you very sick , tired, weak, AND once you are off the crash diet your weight will go back on quicker than you lost it.
I would suggest losing weight permanently that way when times like this come around, you won’t be in a panic or lose out on opportunities.
The best thing you can do is talk to your doctor or a dietician or you can even go to weight watchers, they are AWESOME. They don’t teach diets, they teach a new way of eating and they keep you motivated.

You say that your audition is in two wks? what you can start doing TODAY is changing your diet & exercise plan. Try to incorporate as much fibre (fiber) into your diet. In the am eat oatmeal or special K w/soy milk or almond milk. I’m eating Kashi’s Vanilla Harvest w/vanilla flavoured soy milk. When you get hungry eat some fruit or vegetables. I usually snack on a bunch of seedless grapes, watermelon, & various vegetables, or salads. If you like fish, try baking some salmon coated in light olive oil. Try using a smaller plate to eat meal servings off of. Cut out bread, white rice, refined sugar, & limit the candy. If your not a member of a gym. Start walking, & doing some cardio DVD exercises at the house. Swimming is great for toning & losing weight also. I know it sounds like alot now, but once you’ve wrapped your head around the idea, & you start to see results, it’ll be a breeze. I have to warn you though, that the first 2 weeks are ALWAYS the hardest.
