Hello all, this a question about the popular drink called 5-Hour Energy. It is mostly reviewed as safe, from what I’ve read. Anyhow, I’ve gotten some because, all though young, I need a lot of energy to get through a day at times because of strenuous activities I undertake. My question is this:
Is 5-Hour Energy safe for minors to consume? I’m mostly curious about myself, I am 14 and wondering if I should or should not take any.
Thank you all.

It’s not recommended for children under the age of 12 (says so right on the bottle and on the Website). So technically, I guess you’re safe. However, 5-Hour Energy, and any energy supplement for that matter were never intended for children like yourself. You should be focusing on taking care of yourself, eating right, getting PLENTY of rest, and giving your body what it needs to grow and develop in a healthy way, not by relying on energy supplements.
Talk to your parents/a teacher/guidance counselor/doctor about what you can do to get more rest and take better care of yourself so you don’t feel like you need energy supplements.
