  @ThyFaceIsAFail it? was ~100 degrees out that day and we sprinted to do the interview, also had just done Suicide Silence and Unearth, but yeah Matt is legendary, and for all the fuckups…it still came out fine…

  Cool interview, thanks for posting it uncut. I was once a big trivium fan like you but I think they’ve been going downhill since ascendancy. In waves has their best sound and production but also has their worst songs. Songs like In Waves, Black, Built To Fall sound so watered down and generic. Trivium had much better songs and better stage presence? back in the ascendancy days. When they were touring ascendancy they were blowing headliners off the stage! Now they look like bums.

Yeah I was…he’s my idol and well I was messing up from bad info that Corey (lead guitar for Trivium) had said in a phone interview in August 2010 where he basically had announced all the details for where they were recording/who with….I guess they changed their minds soon after he told me all that…lol fml
